I’m in love with Paris :) And I’m so happy that we finally went there. We went for a weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday :) Champagne for breakfast will do any day! After a lot of contemplating about travel gear, I have found the most dynamic duo ever (for me). A Hasselblad 500CM with the Carl Zeiss 80mm 2.8 CF and my monochrome setup with the Leica M7/Summicron 50mm f2. No digital, just film. That is for I’ve come to love the analog camera experience. But also for the results. A luxurious setup for sure but on the other hand probably a setup for life.
The Hasselblad loaded with the color film of my choice, Kodak Portra 400. A film stock that I felt would do Paris justice in it’s color tones. For 35mm b&w it’s always Tri-X. Such a classic film stock that I’ve come to really love. Paris is really such an amazingly beautiful city that staying for a few days did'n’t feel enough with time to capture it’s diverse beauty. Here are some of my favourites from this trip. All scanned beautifully by my favourite lab Carmencita Film Lab.
